This was the original design...I can't remember if it was from something or was just my own idea...

I never did get around to doing a decent sketch of these, but here are some fakemon starters I did a while back: A topiary pony that turns into a topiary unicorn that turns into a giraffe/qilin whose head/trunk has been struck by lightning. a lot of the move set is more associated with its appearance than with a working move set but I like the idea of a hp heavy grass type with recoil attacks and grass type healing

I'm trying to avoid giving him feet, in my head he's got quite a heavy body so he flaps his wings like mad to stay in the air, and when it evolves it still won't really have feet. I'm not sure I follow with the oval body though, wont I lose the hand mirror concept?

I haven't made any fakemon sprites in such a long time. A lot of spriting forums like CS kind of died out years ago. Without an active community it's harder to find the motivation for it.

That said, I love the idea of vampire mirrors.

They seem to come from a place other than earth, as the dail to grow with just soil and water.
Instead, they sap the nutrients from neighboring plants, leaving giant circular patches of dried crops in fields.
The plants they drain determine their color and flavor, which it uses to lure it's only method of transportation.
Bird Pokémon who try to eat it will become possessed until Legoon is spit out into another field.

either you're moving the goal posts or you never understood what the original comment was about.

This is about making pixel art, which mspaint is perfectly fine for. If you're making other kinds of artwork, then sure, tablets are fine. But MSPaint is much more suitable than a tablet to make pixel art with.

I mean there are better programs for pixel art out there, but that doesn't mean mspaint is bad either.
