General Guidelines for Requests

DO

- Provide In Game Name, Species, Level, and Gender of the deposited Pokemon and include the trade Message

- Check your deposited Pokemon regularly and alert Injectors if your request has been fulfilled or you have changed the deposited Pokemon for any reason such as Snipes

- Delete your previous QR post if it's wrong or revised. At least alert Injectors that it is incorrect.


Do NOT bump or beg and use discretion when it comes to multiple requests. If there are a lot of unfulfilled requests and you have already had a request fulfilled let others have a chance.


When Depositing a Pokemon

- General rule: Use something uncommon but not rare enough that people will want to snipe it.

- DO NOT use Pikipek or Yungoos or any other super common trash and DO NOT use Level 1 pokemon as those are snipe bait. An easy way to level up something for GTS trade fodder is to Battle any one pokemon in the Poni Plains with Exp Share on or by switching out.

- Recommended shitmons to use: Alomomola and Sylveon. Alternatively, Stone Eevee-lutions in the mid-teens or in the 40s. (You can buy Fire, Water, and Thunder Stones in KoniKoni City)

- Strictly prohibited: Ledyba, Abra, Pikipek, trade Evolutions, or any route 1 trash pokemon.

Regarding QR Codes
- Avoid Illegal Pokemon (based on GTS and not pkhex) : Hidden Ability Starters, Shiny locked legends, mythical pokemon, bankmons

- Avoid Untradeable/Illegal items: Megastones, unreleased items like certain berries

To reduce the chance of snipes ask for higher level Pokemon.

- Do help other requesters if they don't follow the guidelines so that they can revise their requests.

While I may agree with it, it's ultimately up to each injector and their personal preferences. I wouldn't go as far as to make it a guideline, most injectors are seasoned enough to deal with it. And also valid concerns like >>30345033. The issue isn't so much Route 1 itself, but certain mons that are too common. Pichu or Slowpoke isn't so problematic, for instance.

Their hack check isn't perfect though, it blocks illegal move combos and checks for stuff like shinylock and "where did you catch this pokemon". However certain things would look weird when looked at closer (at a tournament mb), like a pid/tid/sid of 000000 or an encryption constand of 000000. While those are (probably) possible to get in the real world, it is very unlikely.

Still, you won't get banned for doing anything online (unless you do some funky NTR stuff during battles, like changing your moveset while in a battle)

You won't get banned online, ever. They will prevent you to go online with hacked pokemon.

If you just buff some stats/nature you can leave pid/encryption constant, it is not linked to anything else (it was in gen4 or 5 or something, but not anymore)

The thing is if you create a pokemon from scratch in pkhex it has a pid and encryption constant of 0 (just check all the requests in this thread and you'll see plenty of those). By itself that's not too bad, but it is a sign of a bad hack.

if you pressed the random button on pid/encryption constant you did it right

If you leave your pid/tid/sid or encryption constant at 0000 you have a badly hacked pokemon.

They won't do anything about it, but if you show me 32 boxes of pokemon, (legally)hacked and unhacked, the only way for me to know if it is hacked or not would be by checking for 0 values.

A pokemon that passes the GTS legality check and has a realistic pid/tid/sid/encryption constant is indistinguishable from a legit one (unless all your pokemon have the same pid/encryption constant)

Stupid question but, you guys can modify IVs on Pokemon you've caught ingame, right? Bottle Caps are nice and all, but Training a mon till level 100 takes way too long and Bottle Caps are so tedious to farm. It's not an issue when it comes to breeding mons, but those fucking Legendaries and UBs man.
