The Aether Foundation wasn't really evil so much as a crazy person was running it and had a fucked up pet project, so I'll go with that one. As for the grunts I don't think any of them have grunts I don't like

Aqua for the pirate themed outfit and likelihood of working on the ocean.

Skull/Aqua/Aether in that order for the female grunts, although I would not fit in with skull at all.
