Timid to outspeed all the base 90-95 box legendaries that'll be running around. The extra power from modest doesn't net any notable OHKOs or change many 3hkos to 2hkos, but it's typing assures death from all the ghost/dark coverage out there, so you'll need speed more than bulk or power

I went Bold on the first go and plan to do timid for the next. Im too preferable to those two.

Didn't even check my nature until after I beat the E4. The lunala I caught was naughty. Though that was hilariously ironic.

I suppose I'm mainly attracted to the Will-O-Wisp, ability, and roost/moonlight appeal.

Is the speed that worth though? A lot of the big, bad dark and ghost types are already fast: Gengar, Yveltal, Darkrai, and Marshadow generally outspeed it.

I feel it's Giratina's and Lugia's lovechild.

I know for sure I want Moongeist Beam and Moonblast on its set for autistic reasons, if that helps.

Burning with Will-o-wisp and/or calm mind sounds fun, but focus blasts definitely hurts a lot of things (Tyranitar especially) that would hurt precious Moon Bat.

I just don't know anymore than that for what set to have.

Bewear makes a great team companion for Lunala since it can safely switch into any dark/ghost attack.

Certainly a good suggestion. So with bearfriend, would I go a defensive Moon Bat with Bold, Roost, and Will-o-wisp?

Having bearfriend would kinda make Focus Blast seem obsolete, and the only other moves offensive Lunala could make use of in Ubers falls with Thunderbolt for Kyogre (which sucks) and Psychic for the occasional Amoongus.
