I actually liked Primarina.
It had a fair amount of bulk, enough to tank just about everything ingame. And is even able to wall things on the special side.
Its special attack and decent coverage options left no survivors.
Biggest flaw is it was a little slow, but my favorite starter of all time, Swampert, has the same exact speed, so it wasn't that big of a deal to me. I play a good slow game.
8/10 would use again.
