Beldum has a retarded catch rate. I literally ran out of balls the first time I encountered one.

Worth it for the beast I caught the second time around though.

They still have not fixed Beldum's catch rate? I remember trying to get it via swarms in Gen IV and giving up and just trading for it. Fuck trying to catch a non-legendary with a 3 catch rate.

I like it being a Pokemon that's super hard to catch. Also makes it valuable as fuck on GTS.

funny this thread popped up. I just wasted 30 ultra balls on a beldum in the red and sleep from hypnosis, it killed itself in struggle, but luckily there was an SOS to take its place. I realized...oh yeah, I have timer balls...took about 6 timer balls but finally caught one.

Funny story, I actually captured my beldum in a nest ball with a critical capture after I ran out of ultra balls, it's not a great combo but it's different as fuck, I have never seen anyone send a metagross in a nest ball and that's kinda cool on its own.
