My brother's a ranger. Was a park Ranger, now he works with endangered wildlife. It's not actually that hard a job to get into, if you have a good record of volunteering for local park duties and a good fitness record. Spent some time volunteering to clean up shit at a park and keeping yourself in good shape, and it's pretty easily done. It's also pretty healthy living, all that outdoors time keeps you feeling healthy.
