Is Poke Pelago worth wasting time on?

No reason not to use it, catch everything you see and harvest the beans and you should be able to unlock everything. The features are pretty useful and comfy

Not especially.
Nothing that can be done there is that great, but it can be done while you aren't playing, which is sort of it's value add.
I generally have an expedition always ongoing to collect treasures.

The stones you can get are pretty good.

It's pretty handy once you get it going.

Isle Evel up is fantastic for shit that's on the back burner or raising up high level Pokemon that you're not going to use anytime soon.

The spa is handy for low priority eggs such as filling out babies for dex entries. Make one egg, replace parent for another, and keep going. It takes too long for I.V breeding.

The treasure hunt one is just free shit each day and Isle of Beans gets you loads of rainbow beans once its level 3 and you got 150 mons in your boxes. Rainbow means make level grinding a bit easier.
