However hindsight is a thing and I realize now it should Pokemon you seen in game so you can trade version exclusives

We add and alternative reverse search.

Rather than just have a player search and look for what THEY want, a player can instead put a Pokémon they don't want up on the GTS and have other players state what they'd trade for it. The player can then looking through the requests and eventually decide what offer they like best.

Or alternatively, let somebody enter what they're willing to trade, and look for people who want that.
I've just finished breeding Garchomp and have twenty Gible left, right now I have to just wonder trade them instead of giving them to people who actually want it.

I agree about event legendaries, since you know, you can't even physically trade them, but GTS is the only way to get the alternate boxart legendary and UBs for some of us friendless losers

I guess they could implement a feature where you could only trade pokemon of the same/inferior "rank"? Like you know how the pokedex has different backgrounds for regular pokemon, special pokemon, legendaries and events? Basically, if you offered a "blue background" pokemon, you could request only a "blue background" pokemon, if you offered a "gold background" pokemon you could request "blue/green/gold background" pokemon

Just tried trading for a Drampa, Turtonator, and version exclusive UBs. Didn't even get Drampa or Turt and took about an hour to get both Kartana and Buzzwole since everyone puts up ridiculous offers
