Why are Alola pokemon so goddamn slow? Like, is there a lore reason for it?

Just made it to the Elite Four. My in game team has rofl stomped the entire game, but now that there are trainers with non-shitmons and more than 2 each, the nonexistent speed is getting me destroyed.

I carried Crabrawler and Charjabug with me for 40 hours and they were fine. They both evolved right before the Elite Four in the mid 50s and now they're slow as shit? I don't think Vikavolt has got a hit off since evolving.

Having a team that's 100% Alola mons is a handicap. Ugh, now I need to go power level some Kanto mon I've used a hundred times or something

If you want to spend a little bit of time on it, Smeargle is fantastic with False Swipe + Spore or something, since giving the enemy a status effect stops them from calling for health. Can't really take a hit though, unfortunately.

There are probably several factors to this. One was that the powercreep from previous with their ever increasing speed was getting way too much, so they scaled back on the speedtiers. Another is that for in game purposes, purposely giving you slower Pokes makes the game harder, since you'll actually get hit. The third is probably they wanna support Trick Room and slow and bulky more.

The game is incapable of generating illegitimate things on its' own. With the change to the way egg moves are passed down the ONLY thing that it could possibly put on your children that could make them look bad is an illegal pokeball (which in this generation should just be safari, cherish, and dream for most pokemon....and I'm fairly certain cherish cant pass down anyway), and even then Wifi doesn't care about that, people will just be able to tell from looking.

I hated the enemy team in XY, no direction.
The pokemon felt a bit too boring, I ended up relying on older gen mons to get through the game.
Pretty much Gen6 just felt dead in the postgame. To the point that I all I did was spend time trying to get a living dex done so I can call it quits after 20 years or so.

Frame drops are pretty bad on an o3DS. The PSS was better than the Festival Plaza and I guess O-powers were also nice to have sometimes. The Rotomdex bottom screen is useless most of the time and you can't have anything else instead. EV training and grinding were easier. Roller blades and the bicycle were better than the ride Pokémon.

XY introduced more features overall and SM feels like an XY side-quest. Gen VI was my least favorite gen until now though, but I'm not impressed with SM either. I still haven't finished the game, so there's that, but I kind of miss some features from XY.

It's on Route 3 in the grassy area *after* the bridge, it has a Berry Tree there too.

Bagon are 1% encounter rate with a 1% Chance to call Salamence from SOS on top of that.

The good thing about Bagon is it never calls anything but other Bagon or Salamence, so you can't break the chain as long as you keep the original barely alive.

The ones down below in the Bay need Lapras and are a 10% Encounter rate and can call in Shelgon through SOS.
