Me too. It was the closest to being perfectly balanced, even ignoring lolsmogonrules and playing on-cart, so many more Pokemon were viable because the power creep and random busted hidden abilities weren't as bad as it is now.

I mean, Garchomp was pretty unbalanced but that was one guy and Gen IV Chomp doesn't hold a candle to Gen V weather setters and Gen VI Megamom/Luke/Blaziken etc.
