It has nothing to do with what she looks or acts like. She couldnt even get to pheromosa because the portal was closed, it wasnt like she could just catch it whenever, she saw it and modeled herself after it but thats all she could do. THE PORTAL WAS CLOSED. COSMOG WAS NOT THERE. Her goal was to get back to Nihilego. She caught it so she could have it forever and it fused with her. Pheromosa was not her goal, NIHILEGO WAS. WHY DONT YOU GET THIS.

Not all trainers have pokemon they look/act like. Grimsley looks like a Greninja, why doesnt he use one? Because looks alone dont decide. She clearly modeled herself after Pheremosa.
She dressed up Lillie as Nihilego.
She dressed up Guzma as Xurkitree.
We don't know what Gladion would have been dressed as because he ran away. However if he is dressed up as one it's Necrozma. Look at his hood and Nec's chest.

I get what you're trying to say. It would've really kind of driven the point home if Pheromosa's codename derived from the fact that Lusamine found it to be the most beautiful of the UBs. Would've made sense if her obsession were with it, as a result. But alas, Nihilego's the parasitic one that drove Lusamine's obsession. So I guess GF could've made Nihilego be UB: Beauty and called Pheromosa something else, or made Pheromosa be the toxic, mind-controlling parasitic one. The latter wouldn't fit very well though, because Pheromosa just doesn't do the whole parasitic monster design as well as Nihilego.
