Is it worth keeping him around?
He was irreplaceable at first, absolutely destroying everything in his path, but now even with an eviolite he's absolute baggage at this point. I just got to Poni island and he got one shotted by a fucking ORICORIO.
Should I slog the final mile with him and get to see him evolve or is it not worth it? getting to lanakila is slowly seeming less and less worth it.

Crabominable is my bro, kept him all the way, even boxed my starter so all my sentiment could go to him. He DID have a low period, but it was exactly where you said, trust me anon, it gets even better than it was before.

He evolves only right before the Elite 4, and his typing makes him useless against all of them.
I like Crabrawler and Crabominable a lot, but like you, he became dead weight. I'd rather have fun then force myself to use a shitmon out of commitment.

As much as I like Crabrawler's design I just made the hard choice and boxed him for a Bewear. Crabrawler had a better moveset but it's longterm viability didn't seem very good.
