Gen 1 can trade directly into Gen 2 with a link cable

Gen 1 can also trade into Gen 2 through Pokemon Stadium for the N64 (Might be Stadium 2, I'm not 100%)

Just hack the same mons to the other game, less of a hassle than actully trading. Randomise IV's and stat exp and you're golden

There are other Pokemon in Gen 2 you know, you'll be fine.
