Being honest, Aster being the previous Lorekeeper did somewhat disappoint me, because I thought the whole idea of Aster being a Replacement Goldfish scenario was really touching and depressing. But then again, this interview just brings up a whole different perspective on the character that I really like.

I've beaten the E4 and haven't started doing any post game yet besides breeding, got so fucking excited when i saw him pop up and actually thought he may have some significance to the post game plot in some way.

But you do have to admit, he never really seemed to fit the aesthetics of plasma and really looks like he's suited for the Aether foundation.

Clearly GF hasnt forgot about him. In fact they seem to have a bit of a hard on for him. He was one of the best villains they have ever had and have left him open to some shit in the future.

I would not be surprised if he comes back for a future plot. Maybe not main game material, but definitely a post game quest like a delta episode type thing.

I wish Volkner had more presence in the series, I thought he has a cool as fuck design.

One of the few things I liked about Gen 4.

Tey've been mentioned but the obvious best: Looker, Colress, and now Nanu. I just hope they have main story roles in the next games. Looker missions are cool but they would really benefit from being spread out and paced like they were a subplot of the main game.
