i'm with OP.
Honestly,i don't have any fun with XY and SM because the overabundance of old pokemon and the lack of new pokemon.
I enjoyed XY and SM storylines,so it's a pain in the ass to battle trainers and gym leaders when you don't find the game fun.

So,why are you aganist the idea?

Not for catching old pokemon i did already.

XY at least had a massive variety of Pokemon you'd run into, even if there were few new Pokemon.
SM has a pitiful variety that mainly consists of Kanto and Pokemon who evolve from or into Kanto Pokemon, Alola Pokemon and the occasional Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh or Kalos Pokemon.
