I think original Blue was fucking obnoxious in all incarnations, but as he grew up he became a really kickass and interesting character. Like in HG/SS and all of the media now like Generations, SM, etc.

My personal favorite was always Hugh because of how simple his character was. I've never really wanted a serious rival, and as far as I remember, he doesn't cross you that often.

I can see the appeal in most of them though.
