I'm planning to catch all the colors because I want to, like Vivillon, but I'm wondering if I should be breeding any for wondertrade if some colors are rarer than others.

Violet, Blue, and Green. There were a few that self destructed before I was able to see them, and I only started recently so I'm lucky in the sense that I found no repeats.

What's the best way to collect the different cores?
Breeding or just catching them with a Damp mon up front?

Core colors seem to be locked to saves or region. Breeding one will always give the same color

I was just hunting for a green first run through but I found all but blue and red. Can you really not get all of them in one game?

Region doesn't matter, they just show up at random. Breeding does give the same colour as the parent every time, though.

I caught 6 different colors right on the mountain just trying to level up the one on my squad. Drop a Secret Power on them if they are a level 25-26, or a Z attack if they are 27-28, and let the pokeballs fly after they drop their shield.

They're rainbow coloured, and you can find all of them, all in the same area. I caught red, orange, green, blue, and violet while looking for a violet one, and I saw a yellow and an indigo that I KOd because I mistook them for orange and blue before I went back and saw my actual orange and blue later.

I caught a green core in a Friend ball and was going to breed it. What would the best nature for it be? It's Adamant, but I don't know if either that or Jolly would work.

Is this a viable mixed Pokemon?

Which positive-natured max speed Pokemon would you outspeed with neutral (or even negative) on your Minior after a Shell Smash? Normal mixed Pokemon will run Naive or Hasty, but as a unique case Pokemon who depends heavily on taking and surviving a hit, this seems unwise for Minior who doesn't have a good defensive typing and even shielded can't take a whole lot with 60/100/100 defenses.

A positive-natured Pokemon with 177 base speed and full investment is required to outspeed minimum-speed negative-natured Minior (with 31 IVs since there'd be no point in true minimum) after smashing and shields down. So you could actually run that. Scarfers 102 and above at max speed and above will beat it though which is pretty dangerous. Might consider fucking Hardy as blasphemous as that is.

Adding to this, scarfed 118 positive nature max speed is required to beat uninvested neutral nature. Do things at that speed tier even run scarf ever? The Naive recommendation seems pretty unnecessary but I am probably overlooking something.

Is there any way to make my minior start in shell form? He always comes out as core then switches back to the defense form. I dont care for it.

Anyone else think they dropped the ball big time by not making Minior a mascot of the game? Literally everyone loves this Pokemon, it's the most interesting design of the gen, it's a serious cutemon, comes in a variety of colors, it's fun to use in battle, and it's even cosmic-themed like the game's titles. Minior is loved by people from all audiences the game is made for. It's given no exposure outside of a short clip in one trailer.

Blue has always been my favorite color. I can't decide between the teal b lue or the dark blue core, though, but honestly they all look great in some way
