yeah the issue is when you reload it updates the contact info for your 50 guests and deletes it for the old 50 from the local memory, then it doesn't reload who is standing around (which is why you have to exit and enter). The reason you can buy stalls off them but not VIP them is because stalls are local information you always have. It took me a bit to work out what was happening but after 30 something levels it clicked kek.

sophocles seems to give random star facilities regardless of rank. Go to the girl in the castle that pages guests, find some high festival rank ones and see what facilities they offer. Or, add someone from here with the facilities you want, but I think it doubles the FC cost.

It seems that the VIP thing is working as intended, I realize why they made it so weird. Eventually the 50 people waiting around your plaza will replace 100% of the guests. So when you connect to the internet, in order to contact those people you have to use the pager. In fact, the people outside of the vip castle, even when you can't VIP them, you can contact the new VIPs by paging them without restarting the plaza. Of course, the point still stands - if you connected to the internet you lose the ability to VIP anyone outside of your castle.

Oh interesting, I just bought the green dye facility off whoever france was in here. I see that you can get practically every colour from the stall by using berries anyway. The only ones you miss out on are "bright" which are pretty fugly desu. Pastels are the best, and so if pastels and darks are your thing then you only need ONE dye stall.

So for optimization you would want x amount of rare kitchen, 1x fortune teller and fill the rest with treasure hunts. I also think that the fortune teller may be able to boost the dye stall into giving the bright colours as well. So it's a win win.

going online clears the data (contact info) for the avatars around your plaza, you can either:
1. go to the castle and page the guests you actually can VIP or
2. leave the plaza and enter it again to spawn the ones you actually have the contact info of (the ones you would have been paging in the castle)

in another form:
going online fetches information on 50 people and saves it locally to your game, the first set you ever get will be VIPable - this is why people have been able to add the first few and never any others. The next time you enter the plaza, it loads the local information it saved, but the moment you go online it fetches another 50 and clears your list. The avatars still remain because it doesn't reload them, that data is still in the memory. They no longer have any contact info to be able to add.

So, go online to fetch new people -> leave the plaza -> enter the plaza -> DO NOT CONNECT -> VIP anyone worthy around the plaza -> connect to get a new 50 -> rinse repeat

However, even if you do connect like I said, you can still vip people by paging them. The problem is that it takes longer.

bright dye can only be bought from colour specific vendors, I don't think you can use a berry. I do have a theory that the fortune telling tent can buff other facilities to provide functions they dont normally have. So you may be able to get bright dyes IF you get lucky with the fortune teller. I don't know if it does, but it would really help save space for optimization.

Ok I'm trying to figure out how many EV's those bouncy place courses for Pokemon give at 5-stars.

Now, since vitamins don't work over 100 EV's, I decided to give a test Pokemon the 50 FC course for HP. After that, I gave 4 HP ups to it until it said it can't take anymore.

So I assume the 50FC courses give somewhere around 64 EV's each?

Kinda related to Festival Plaza, but does anyone have Rare clothing from the flea market punk girl at the Malie City community center?

They seem to be shiny versions of Pokemon themed clothing, but it seems you only get one type of clothing such as hats or shoes per game. I'm guessing the whole outfit can be assembled via Festival Plaza though. I'm not sure if there are more parts to the sets than just hats and shoes though.

As far as I know there's sets for shiny Zygarde (Order), Girafarig (Long Neck), Bruxish (Cruel), Kommo-o (Scaly), and Zebstrika (Thunderbolt).

the 5* bouncy house can do every tier and also has an option for maxing an EV out to 252. Every other course has a range of 5 - 50, there is no exact control over how many, its random.

I have one, but it's worthless due to costing 300 per session. The math is above but: 1800 to buy, 300 first session. 2100 coins = 42 type match up games winning 50 coins every time = approx. 126mins.

and for every session thereafter youre looking at approx. 18 minutes of grinding under the same perfect conditions. You're better off SOS training. Don't install bouncy castles unless you get them from sophocles for free, and even then its a wasted slot.

I'm kind of lost myself here. How the fuck do I get 1500, 2100, 3000 FC when every time I speak to someone or complete a mission, the reward is just 5-20 FC? The amount of FC you need to do anything it's ridiculous.
I'll try that Lottery + Fortune Teller stuff for bottle caps, but I hope there's a way to farm this shit faster.

Connect online first and foremost. Look for missions that pop up on the bottom screen sometimes and join. Do "type matchups" since that's what people are farming for FC. Use a festival ticket to get things started if you have to and hope people will join.

Takes a bit of practice to do these questions quickly and you need 10-stars between you and your other participants for a full 50FC, but it's the quickest method at the moment until global missions happen.

you need to score 16 correct answers in order to individually gain 5 stars and get 25FC on your part. You can do that offline. For the other 25 FC you have to be online and the total score of all players must reach 300 in order to get 5 stars. Sometimes its really good, sometimes its really bad. I do know that the more active you are in the plaza, the more requests you will get. If you AFK the requests wont come up for a while and you've gotta provoke it to connect with game hosts (like host a game, wonder trade etc). At least that's what I've experienced.
