That's a 1 in 999999 chance
i just hacked mine to say 314159 before i picked my starter
>>30210425
I want 666420 as my ID number.
>>30210425
That's one prime Trainer ID Number.

Take your (you), edgy b8 lord
I tried to reset for a good ID, but the closest one I could get is 772355.
828505, love it.

TID editing in PKHeX when? The latest version just shows 5 numbers, not 6.
>>30210377
actually it's 1 in 10000000 chance, 000000 counts too.

just feels nice to look at

Eh, it's kinda ugly.
7s and 4s don't go together very well. If it were 7s and 3s then I'd be more impressed. 3 in from 10, 3 up from 0.

TID and SID are combined (somehow) to make the one you see in game
>>30210971
The TID/SID system from previous games is still how IDs work, but instead of displaying TID, the game now displays (TID + (65536 * SID)) % 1000000.

One number off to get a palindrome.
I manually changed my trainer ID to 3512, at the start of every game from Gen 3 onwards. It came about from an anniversary date but now it's mainly for consistency.
I go to a lot of effort to have a huge collection of untouched and legitimate Pokemon, o I like the consistency across all Generations.
I never touch the SID though because that *should* be different for every game.

Huh, that's pretty weird but cheers for the info.
>>30211030
That sounds... complicated. How would I go about creating a custom ID then?

I dunno why it's just nice

Use basic algebra
>>30211362
I can't into math anymore after like six years of being NEET
>>30211286
you barely even have to use algebra, just keep increasing/decreasing the SID by increments of 1 until you get close to your target id, then modify the TID until you get what you want
I ended up using this one after numerous resets.
will there ever be an update to pkhex so you can just manually input your desired 6 number id? i dont get algebra at all and it makes my head hurt;_;
