Not to mention that they were a bit to overdesigned. I prefer my balls to have a simplistic and elegant look to them. Like the premium, if you will.

Males now pass the balls too, so nope.
Given you can't catch the starters in any way, and as such can't get their HA ether, you're stuck with the basic balls. At least till a cherish ball event happens.

It only works with males and ditto. When you use a male and female pokemon the female will pass down the ball every time.
