Around level 35 i traded it holding a rare candy to my friend who had gotten further than me so he could evolve it. It 1 shots everything ive used it on.

Honestly it was better than fucking Komala. But yeah, it really sucks it evolves so late, because by the end it was just lagging behind. Still managed to pull through a few times though. If I had to replay the game I'd probably cut it and Komala and replace them with Araquanid and something else

Anyways here's my team; Unfortunately it doesn't carry any Dragon/Ice/Fairy attacking moves so it can only hope for neutral hits against the likes of things like Flygon. Salazzle is also frail as fuck and I didn't realize that Mudsdale has Own Tempo instead of Stamina till I already grinder with it.

Every other mon that I rotate through is underleveled, or not overleveled (NPC mons are now in the late 40's and I try to give my Mons a +5 level difference).

I've had Exp. Share on because I tend to switch out mons very often. I also have more than 80 Pokémon caught on my Alola dex (not seen, CAUGHT) and I'm barely starting the third island. The sheer volume of Pokémon I've fainted is probably why I have a shiny already without the shiny charm. You can't prioritize catching like I do and NOT be overleveled with the "call for help" feature in this game.

I keep Alakazam and Glaceon on the back bench now because they are 15 levels above any trainer Pokémon I see, so I use the chance to train up my Mudbray and Wimpod.

Definitely consider another mon to cover your ground weakness, a flying type or grass type would do you good, the latter also helping against the also as noticeable Water weakness.

After that, get something like a Fighting type e.g. Passimian to sponge up potential Rock type moves easier since you don't really have anything resisting Rock.

I used Magnezone in X/Y and quite liked its move coverage. I'm a bit intrigued by Raichu's psychic typing though, so it's hard to choose. I'd like them both, because I like them both a lot, but I know in the long run, it's inefficient to run 2 electric types. I think apart from that though, I have my types covered. Wouldn't mind a Dugtrio though...

Bewear, Raichu and Mimikyu are already bros. I'd breed new ones for better IVs though. How well do the other 3 fit in there? Would Toxipex be better than Golisopod? I had one with me for the E4 but I was kinda disappointed in it since I caught it. I love Mareanie line, I wish it'd have been better.

I can't rate teams for shit myself so have a drawing of a dysfunctional Ditto family a kid at the school I work at gave me.

Yeah, my core was always gonna be Ninetales, Primarina and Mimikyu so I actually considered a mono-fairy for my very first run.

Lycanroc only really gets Bite/Crunch and all your basic Rock moves. The only other Type of move he gets is Fighting with Brick Break only, so teach that to him as soon as he evolves and just have your fourth slot be filler, like Rock Slide for when you don't feel like missing Stone Edge or you need more Rock PP, or Accelerock (His exclusive move) when you get to the move relearner at the end of the game.

On the first Island and this is what my team looks like it's going to be for awhile.
Wanted to use Rockruff from the beginning and I liked the other two used in the Pokedex quests (I especially like the idea of using Flare Boost Drifblim, If I can find one). I also wanted to use all of the Weather Setters since it was revealed (Don't know who to kick off the team though, or if I even should pick up Torkoal and Vanniluxe/Ninetails)
