I've been working on breeding a jolly one, and giving it pain split instead of shadow sneak. It's a much more reliable form of recovery than leech life, especially when you can predict a wall switching in.

Hatch 20 eggs and then go to battle tree. Talk to the Ace trainer next to the PC. He will give you the ability to check IV's in your pc.
You do this by pressing the Judge button of the bottom of the screen.
Hyper training is a shit where you go to the mall on the first island with a lvl 100 and bottle caps.
You talk to the guy in the middle of the 2 others fags behind the counter. and he can max out Iv's in exchange for bottle caps.
You should just take the time to grab a 6IV Ditto from /ekx/ and then breed them to have good Iv's yourself.

Basically, you use the free sub to boost so you can do some damage before your opponent inevitably regains control of the situation.

I guess you could also use it as a safe switch or as a means to cockblock a Z-move, but the best Z-moves seem to be buffs so that probably is not a good idea.
