Yes, the pokemon that is called does have a much higher chance of being shiny. However, how long this "chain" goes on is irrelevant. Its only the initial call that matters. You're basically playing a slot machine every time a Pokemon calls for help. I believe the odds go down to 1/500 for a pokeom that is called to be shiny.

Careful nature. I've been using a non shiny one in the battle tree with that nature with 252 hp Evs and even distribution to its defenses, with the moves toxic, baneful bunker,recover, and liquidification and it can out stall almost everything. You could also use toxic spikes in place of toxic, but I feel like the battle tree tried to screw me over more when I had that move so I replaced it with toxic. Whatever it can't beat with toxic and critical hit liquidifications, I just send kartana out to annihilate.

It's increased,go talk to this faggot on Route 13 if you're so bent on "muh source". You can have shit luck with RNG. There are people who don't get a fucking shiny SR until like 50k+ in the old games, where the shiny chance was 1/8000. Just because they didn't get it for so long didn't mean the shiny chance was really 1/50000.

We just have no knowledge if the longer the chain = greater shiny chance, of if it's like dexnav where it's 1/512 every encounter. We need the dataminers to get that. (And to see if it works with the shiny charm, as the Friend Safari, the other 1/512 method, did not)

My current Shiny track record is a Dratini in FR from Gamecorner, a Shiny corvana thing while looking for Feebas in Emerald, and a Shiny Golbat on Victory road in Pearl.

You're all fucking new to this, aren't you? You should try Masuda Method sometime and see how long that takes in comparison. Now they've made shiny hunting relatively easy like chain fishing, a bunch of babies with no patience have joined the ride and they're all crying that it's taking too long. Grow up and get some fucking patience. The shiny chance used to be 1/8192. Now you can whittle it down to as little as 1/400 by dexnaving, and even then this method is faster than that. Less complaining more chaining.

What's a good method for SOS chaining Mimikyu? It's frustrating having to take two turns to kill every non-shiny one because of Disguise, and it's immune to False Swipe so I'm afraid of killing the summoner or shiny when it shows up.
