Just beat the game and trudged to the battle tree, and unlocked the IV checker.
I'm feeling overwhelmed, what should I do first?
I'm thinking grinding 48 BP for a Destiny Knot, but Battle Tree rekt me on my first attempt. Should I catch some legendaries and cheese it?

Yes, catch a legendary, Tapu Koko might be best since he's a strong sweeper. You can farm BP with an un-EV trained Tapu and some in-game mons.

I found Blue easier. It's a hurdle but it's doable if you can beat the E4+Champ

Can you re-battle them (outside of the battle tree, i mean)?
I kinda want to beat Red on principle, if I can only fight one of them, but I can't super effective some of his 'mons...
Also the e4+champ kinda killed my stash of heal items, and I haven't replenished them yet.
