48 evs neutral after shell smash outspeeds max speed +1 125s in core form, just in case you run into anything weird like timid scarf darkrai
44 beats max speed garchomp in meteor form

then max atk and rest go into HP, with the usual odd number HP, spdef higher than def, etc. set is white herb, shell smash, acro, edge, quake

however, I've been wondering which base 110-ish mons are important to outspeed in meteor form, which would trade HP for speed.
this makes setting up a smash a little harder against heavy hitters but helps a sweep against fragile things that could kill it if they go first, or break its meteor form and priority kill/status it

I really like the meteor idea and I see what you mean, but I just love werewolves. It kinda bugs me that he's just a Rock-type. I don't really even use him because he hasn't learned any decent moves and he doesn't seem that strong. Does Lycanroc have any good moves he can learn? Yeah, and Mudsdale can tank pretty much anything, even at a type disadvantage. I burned Totem Lurantis with my Magmar's Flame Body and switched to Mudsdale because Magmar was really underleveled. Mudsdale eventually got so beefy that not even Solar Blade could do anything to him. I love Leftovers on that horse too.

I use Magmar too, with eviolite it's great in-game, in most games before I never got a chance to use him because he's either gotten too late or he's a bitch to catch or he's in the wrong version, so I'll use him if I damn well please, he's one of my favorite pokemon

Someone upthread mentioned the capture rate is maxed with shields down. They have Selfdestruct, but won't use it until shields down.

But it is a move, and you will get the chance to throw before they use it. They could also use Swift or Ancient Power instead.

The in-game trade Poliwhirl comes with Damp, super useful for catching Minior. Evolve it into Poliwrath for more bulk too.
