I've hoped for the removal of HMs since gen 3, so I'm very very glad they actually did it.

Functionally it's better, but I wish we weren't stuck with specific Pokemon for it especially since one of Pokemon's major appeals is variety. Hopefully we'll get custom Pokerides in the future, at least a few options for each mode of riding.

Im sad. It does let me have Pokemon I like, but that means I wont bond with some other Pokemon I wouldnt have used otherwise. But riding pokemon is still pretty cool. Kinda on the fence.
