Only the initial appearance of a Pokémon that was called for help has a greater chance of being shiny. The chain only affects IVs/Hidden ability.

It needs to be out the entire time which makes it a pain to do since you don't have false swipe without switching out, plus you can't just use a Pokemon with keen eye to avoid sand attack lowering your accuracy. I'm not sure about if the synchronizer is fainted and at the front of your party though. I think I might test it out by catching some shit mons with a fainted synchronizer in the front of my party before I go and try chaining for rockruff again.

In battles, wild pokemon can call an ally, so the idea is to keep fainting the ally, the higher number of allies called the more likely a shiny will appear.

What I don't know is if you can faint the original wild mon, because if its always the ally you have to defeat then the original will run out of moves eventually and start struggling, whereas if its possible to always faint the previous one and leave the called ally intact then you can go on until your mons run out of moves.

Okay very simply, since ever one is fucking asking, you start with the pokemon you want to chain, whittle it down to red, pop adrenaline orb, and K.O. whatever it calls for help. Now after awhile the original will start running low on PP, don't let it struggle to death. To avoid this let it call one of the SAME species, using another species will break the chain, and then you can K.O. the caller and keep the new pokemon to put it in the red and continue chaining.

for those unaware, it's slowbro with leppa berry/recyle/heal pulse/slack off

I would replace block with a damage move for obvious reasons. Is there any way I can use something like this without Bank? Because (I think) all of the available Pokemon with a move that heals opponents doesn't get Recycle outside of ORAS tutors.

I was 80+ rockruffs when one used struggle and ended the fight.

A few questions:
Should I kill the initial Pokemon at around 70 moves to make sure it doesn't struggle? I've read places that ends any sort of SOS.

Also, if the battle ends is there any point of getting into another SOS battle? Do they stack or am I just starting from scratch?

Random is random, you could run into a shiny on route 1 on the first time you ever played. Stop being fucking retarded. It's actually a calculation that returns a number that is <16/65000 based on a few different things, and has absolutely jack shit to do with how many pokemon you've seen before or after.
