An example if you will...
>now real time combat, still implementing the turn based mechanics
>all stats stay the same in normal pokemon games, but soeed effects your pokemon's movement speed and attack speed, and the higher the Atk/S.Atk, the more your moves stun opponents
>standard kick and punch for all pokemon, punches used to link one of your four moves, and kick used to push back opponent to use moves like dragon dance or harden for a boost.
>certain items change, Ex. Leftovers now pops every 10 seconds in battle, Life Orb takes away a bit of health on a succesful hit, etc.
>even when blocking, if a pokemon's move is super effective, half damage is done to said blocking pokemon weak to it.
>moves like counter are attacks held down, and the user can decide how much damage they wanna take before dishing out counter. But the animation would be very obvious, meaning the opponent can easily predict it unless they're desperate for hits.
How'd I do? What would you add/change?

If Pokemon was a real time rpg it would be really weird especially during 3 way battles would be cool as a side game

I'd play it for sure, but it sounds like something I'd prefer as a console exclusive spin off than a main series game. Changing the game genre of the main series would be a good way of turning off a lot of fans.
You have pokken though. Just expand on that series.
This shit is getting as bad as pokemmo.
There are several ways to interpret pokemon already. You have the mystery dungeons, ranger games, pokken, rumble. Why must the main series offer anything other than a turn based rpg?
