How do I play without outlines in 3DS?

Just copy and paste one of the patched code.bins into SD:/luma/code_sections
Hold select when booting Luma to open up the config menu, turn on "Enable region/language emu. and ext. .code" and press start

I only noticed this very recently, but when you use that Z move it removes the outlines from the opposing pokemon.
The game also lags less in general with it off.

Really? I've been playing on n3ds and have only exerienced lag in either double battles with stuff lke terrain+weather, does it pretty much cut that out or is this better for o3ds?

Better for O3DS. A friend with N3DS didn't even really see any real improvement. It's pretty clear this game wasn't made with the O3DS in mind.
