I just wish they all had 6 letter codenames so I could've done UB-0_ [codename]. I'm still tossing up if I want to do that for blade, but it would break consistency.

I really like the Xurkitree animation where it kinda pyramids its body, made me like the pokemon a lot more.

I also really like the catch rates on them with beast balls, they're so easy to SR. I already have timid Symbiont, Adamant & Impish Absorption & Modest Lighting. I'm currently going for a timid Lighting & I plan to catch all blades as Jolly to trade the spares for the two I'm missing.

Not sure what Gluttony natures I want, anyone have any ideas?

I love Pheromosa's design. It looks so otherworldly, and yet at the same time it looks so elegant and sleek.

Its insectoid characteristics blended with an alien-esque look makes Pheromosa visually striking.

I was going to get Sun but I got Moon instead, just for Pheromosa.

In fact is there like a strategy/tier list for UBs yet? Normally I figure out a Pokemon's role visually, by comparing how it looks with its types and moves. But all the Ultra Beasts have really odd type combos and some of their moves are off with those too.

If I was more numbers-oriented I'm sure this would be less of a problem.

The only one that closely resembles a human is Nihilego. Lillie's mother, Lusamine became obsessed with them (possibly due to poisoning around the time their father disappeared), and pushed her daughter to dress like one so she could be closer to the only thing she thought was "beautiful" anymore.

Just invest 128 EVs in each Defense (don't do any in HP), maximize the offense stat of your choice, then give him an assault vest or a choice item corresponding to your chosen stat. Very bulky and powerful, but not as overbearing on offense as Hydreigon.

Celesteela is insanely versatile. All the UB's have some deranged aspect, and versatility is Broom Waifu's.

Unfortunately that would break some of the other UBs.

For example, Celesteela's HP stat will always be higher than any of its other stats regardless of nature or EVs.
Nihilego's uninvested HP will always be higher than its special attack unless you run Modest.
Jolly/Impish Buzzwole can only invest at most 84 EVs in HP if it wants the attack boost (or 232 EVs if it's Adamant).

Having Beast Boost run off of the Base stat makes all the beasts less versatile, and Base stats are hidden from the player anyway.

The solution could just be to give Guzzlord some sort of recovery.

You CAN boost Pheromosa's attacking stats higher than its speed if you're okay with using Adamant/Modest/Naughty/Rash. That still lets it outspeed base 130s (but not 135s unfortunately).

Now the million dollar question is do I treat ultra beasts as regular pokemon (you do after all capture several of each kind, and in their own dimension they are just regular pokemon) or as legendaries?
