I just fucking did this holy shit he was at 1 hp and a fucking ultra ball would not work. Used a master in the end.. reminds me of the old days of legendaries. The game was a good 25 hours long but i feel the big athear part was rushed big time. Also i felt some characters got shafted big time and rushed. The skull gal girl got 2 fights and no plot and your real fucking rival got.. 2 fights.. and type null wasnt even important. after using up all 20 of my ultra-balls I started trowing great-balls when I had only 7 left it finally clicked. that is a total of 33 pokeballs and I used up all of Snorlax "Rest" move PP as well as left a bunch of fainted under leveled pokes.

and after all of that the game still did not let me saved until another long useless cut scene.

If you guys think this is bad, wait until you start trying to catch the UBs. Some of those things are just complete and utter cuntmonglers. I swear to god they were designed to be as annoying to catch as possible.

Xurkitree and Kartana were the worst.

Xurkitree because you can't status him -- he's electric type, so no paralysis, and he spams electric terrain, so no sleep. Meanwhile, he starts at +2 special attack on top of his 173 base special attack and then add in electric terrain and he is just fucking hammering you with Discharge and if anything you have faints then he gets another +1 and the situation gets even worse. Fucker was doing a solid third of my level 75 Snorlax's health even at +6 special defense from X. SpDefs.

Kartana is basically the same thing, except minus electric terrain so you can sleep it and it's a little bit less damage, but you'll still end up needing to rely on X. Def items to bring its damage down to survivable levels -- except the cheeky shit spams Leaf Blade, which has an increased crit rate, which cuts through defense ups and OHKOs you and gives it another +1 to attack.

Those two were far and away the hardest things I've ever caught in a Pokemon game. Partially my fault, of course, because I didn't want to catch them in Beast Balls because balltism, but still they have the regular legendary catch rate of 3 and if it's asleep and at 1 HP then it isn't so bad.
