The graphics are literally shit. Not like they look ugly, because I love them, but goddamn all the backgrounds are just pixelated 2d textures, the ground is flat, and everything is low poly. When two pokemon are on screen it lags. It's just ridiculous.

Gamefreak are lazy fucks and made models too advanced for 3DS to render properly so that they could keep reusing them for 10+ years in the future. Of course this means on current hardware it looks like complete shit and by the time a hardware is out that can handle it without chugging they will be outdated.

The games lag in my 2DS, but they run smoothly in my N3DS XL.

The no lines patch with Luma in my 2DS made my games lag less.
