Soaring was made to make the old region appealing and new again. A new perspective of a place all players could have been before.

They said it wouldn't be back for new Gens, but may come back for remakes.

I don't see what the big deal about that is. Everyone knew soaring was going to be gone and it was nothing special anyway. What made it so great? Being able to do a barrel roll or a backflip? Flying over a region that you couldn't change the camera to look down at?

Soaring was awful and it was only useful to fly to specific routes without having to start from a pokecenter every time.

SM's fly feature is pretty shit but still fixes that problem, making soaring redundant.

Soaring was gay as shit after your like 3rd time doing it

After that its purpose was just to save you from carrying around something that knows fly which is no longer an issue

Dexnavs removal is what sucks
