Only thing tough was trying to keep all of my party alive for my perfect battle autism. Instant solar blade made that a bit annoying since it shred through most of my team.

What really fucked me up was Totem Mimikyu however where I actually had to sac multiple members of my team to actually win.

Anyway a 97%-accurate Sleep Powder and high amount of wild held items due to Compound Eyes could still be a decent enough reason to keep one in the party long-term (not that this is any help against this particular battle). This game it's even considered a "fast" Pokemon so it's even better ingame.

Mistreavous with Confide beat Wishiwashi. I don't know why its first move was Soak. Water Gun did nothing. OHKO'd Salazzle with a crit from Rockruff's Rock Tomb. 2KO'd Lurantis with A-Warowak's Flame Charge.Not hard so far, but more interesting than XY.

This is the first Pokemon game since Diamond to give me moments where I wondered if I was going to get swept. Lurantis wasn't too bad, but Wishiwashi was pure suffering with Alomomola's heal pulse and my only decent SE attack being Spark with Charge.

use a Pokemon with sleep powder or yawn on Lurantis and you should be good, otherwise it will just keep healing to full. Use a fire type to KO cast form without dying to solar blade.

I had slowpoke with yawn since it can't be confused due to ability from Trumbeak and I'm guaranteed a sleep. Then used salandit with dragon rage for a quick KO.

It slept about 3 full turns for me which was pretty lucky. Sleephax seems decent for that battle, especially if you are having trouble with it using synthesis constantly.

This fucker and his faggot Haunter friend nearly took me out. Decidueye, Wishiwashi, Golisopod, Lycanroc, and Salazzle dropped like rocks. The fucker had a Lum Berry too so it cured the toxic from Salazzle. The only reason I won was because Charjabug bulked out Play Rough and avoided confuse ray like a champ.

Wishiwashi wasn't bad. Dartrix basically spammed Razor Leaf on it and Alomomola. It got the job done in time.
Salazzle was a joke thanks to Mudbray.

But Lurantris did come close to fucking my shit up.

I purposefully use shitmon just to build up the dex early on so I am constantly under leveled.

Lurantis was the scariest besides Mimikyu. I had to spam super potions on my Trumbeak and wait for the sun to go down or for it to screw up (not a suicidal fag who includes "no potions no Pokemon Centers" during a run). Was sure my team was going to be wiped (no grass coverage besides Trumbeak) but I got really lucky. I'm assuming you guys nuzlocked or else this isn't an issue at all.

I don't know if I just have a good selection of Pokemon, but I haven't had any trouble with any totems so far. I don't use the exp share either. I haven't played much but Lurantis is the last totem I fought. It was taken out by my newly evolved Ribombee. Salazzle was OHKO'd by my Cubone. Wishiwashi ded by Charjabug. And Raticate btfo by Cutiefly. I'm going to play through Sun and try different Pokemon I guess. I'm hoping the next totems are harder.

Wishiwashi was a fucking nightmare, what are you talking about? Unless you can kill it on turn two, it is going to recover and it is going to summon help, which means either a ton of helping hands or Alomomola for even more recovery.

Salazzle and Lurantis were both comparably easy for my team. There is a very specific way you have to fight Wishiwashi and it's hard to figure that out right away.

The only totem so far that actually KO'd any of my mons was Gumshoos. I'm on set and no exp.share either. For Wishiwashi I set up my Pikachu with Nasty plot while it just used Growl/Helping hand and then OKO'd it. With Salazzle I just used Brionnes Waterium-Z scald, and with Lurantis I used Salandit to poison it, then used taunt after I saw it use synthesis, and then used Fire Burst. If I used Trumbeak I probably could I killed it quicker.

Totem Lurantis just made sweet sweet love to my team.

That's what I've been using. Also a Trumbeak. Trumbeak and Charjabug make for a good anti Lurantis team. Of course, given that I knew it could take a few hits and use synthesis, I decided to use mud slap to take its accuracy down a few pegs and make half its attacks miss. Much easier to wittle down its health with Pluck when there's less Solar Blades taking out half your health.

I used an attack battle orb or whatever that sharply raises your stat is called and then used the fire z move and ohko'd it
I had a ton of trouble with wishiwashi though, it kept ohko-ing my pichu before I could use an electric move (also: fuck helping hand)
just barely managed when cutiefly got lucky on silver wind and got her stats boosted

i 3-shotted it with my Trumbeak. i never had to deal with the castform, it called in a different mon first.

still have yet to lose a battle. almost lost against Hau when he battled me on the 3rd island, had to use a few revives there. his Raichu did more damage to my team than any other mon that i had run into up to that point.
