Kukui didn't even fight you in wrestler mode. His glasses, somewhat lanky build and wise-guy personality is more similar to Decidueye in my opinion. I did choose Primarina though so there maybe some bias.

Popplio BTFOs every possible "canon" scenario, because it just doesn't fit with anyone that can receive it. Even the most "closest to canon" circumstance will still feel out of place with the person that gets stuck with Popplio.
