I haven't finished it, but if SM turns out to be one of the best I'll be fucking stunned because let me tell ya, it didn't get off to a good start. I was an hour in before I got past Route 1. Definitely a very poorly paced game.

Like FRLG, when you start a new game, you should be promoted to select whether you need tutorials or not. And saying "no" should skip the first hour or two of horseshit and skip right to the Pokemon section and the first town.
