Just landed on the 3rd island.
Bee and salamander are pretty underwhelming honestly.

Playing set, no exp share and training weak mons up in the grass is such a pain in the ass because of SOS.
Bulky mons are much better, especially for 2v1 totem battles.

Jangmo-o is pretty garbage. I had someone trade me one and although he's the same level as the rest of my team, he's constantly lagging behind and weaker than the rest. Just use Zygarde.

By the time you get jangmo-o (like 3/4ths through the last island), he can level up twice and be fully evolved. I was lucky enough to get a lizard that called a hakmo-o for help, so I only had to level it one. Kommo-o definitely pulled her weight.

Here's my team. It only shares 2 members with my original planned team. I ended up trading my starter (a Rowlet) for a Dewpider because it was useless and I can't play during the times when I could get one.

Currently I'm at the Aether Paradise after Ula'ula. All of my mons have been surprisingly effective and each of them has taken down at least 1 boss on their own.

I just arrived on the third island, that Golbat is a shiny one and the Torracat and Wimpod are both 1 level from evolving.

Having a blast with the team but it's all over the place. I think Incenoroar dark typing as well Crabrawler evolution will help in the long run.

Wasn't planning to play this team at all, the shiny Golbat was my first shiny in like 17 years playing this franchise so I took some other mons from the PC box and tried it.

Originally I had boxed the Torracat and was demolishing people with Saladazzle. My favorite design this gen.
