I lost 3 Pokemon before I actually did something about it, but I forget what I did. Current team is this (no battles since him):
A-Grimer 26
Salandit 26
Araquanid 26
Charjabug 28
Lilligant 25
Mankey 25

Grimer failed both RNG checks to poison it on the one Poison Fang it got off (I expected it to get 2 turns and was wrong, might've been crit). I remember Lilligant missed Sleep Powder and then wasn't strong enough to tank 2 Psychics. I'm pretty sure Eviolite Charjabug was just able to tank it and Bug Bite. Don't remember who else died but I ended up having to just use Araquanid to crush Brionne slowly with resisted Water STABs back and forth.

I almost lost to it because I didn't know that there was a battle there, so I stupidly had my weak poison-type Mareanie up front that I've been trying to train, and Raichu managed to get off free Psychics on me. Didn't matter, though, because my Tsareena counter swept his team (Tsareena is new bae - she was mediocre her first two evos but now she's super fucking good).

So yeah, dunno what's so hard about it. I only had a 3 man team too (Mareanie, Tsareena, Torracat).

I learned to appreciate Mudbray when I fought this thing. Of course, then Flareon nearly swept me. Didn't expect Grimer to get 2HKOed by it.

I lost to it because none of my team members resisted both psychic and electric. And since I only wanted to use alolan mons, a 9 out of 10 of them are slow as shit, electro ball destroyed pretty much everything I had. The only mon I had to resist electric was a steenee, and her stats are non existent. I should of had my Torracat equipped with Evolite, I probably would of managed.

STAB Psychic can really hurt, and because a ton of Alola mon are slow shits, so does Electro Ball on any of your Psychic resists

No, but it made me dislike Hau more. This fucking thing had all the moves in needed and he always used the opposite of what he should. I was overleveled so its find but Jesus Hau has some pretty bad battle AI.

Battle AI in this game can be really fucking weird sometimes. My Minior broke Olivia's Probopass because it kept trying to TWave it at full health. Shields Down prevents status but it just kept trying.

Also, having recently fought Hau before the E4, I saw something mad retarded. His Leafeon has both Baby Doll Eyes and Charm. Like fuck sakes someone made a concious decision to put those both on.
