After playing through Moon I genuinely cannot imagine the plot with Solgaleo instead of Lunala. I don't mind Solgaleo and actually prefer him if we're going by design but Lunala is Nebby

The Sun is pretty hot.
Solgaleo is weak to Fire, but heat doesn't come from Fire SPECIFICALLY.
They have a chance like every other Pokemon because nothing literally dries, melts and burns when on the same planet as a bunch of Magcargo.

Would it take 1 trillion Solgaleos to clog up the core of the Sun? Would the counterpressures of their bodies cause the sun to implode after the first few hundred billion? That's 2.07x10^14kg of metal at the 900 billion mark vs the sun's total mass of the sun's about 2x10^30kg. It's a large difference, but that might still be enough to disturb the pressures needed for fusion.
