That said I'd be curious how a main series Pokemon would be on the Switch, especially given that it has no touch screen anymore. Pokemon Refresh would have to be revamped. Plus, given that Pokemon is an RPG it benefits from a lot of dual screen gameplay. If it was back all on one screen then a lot of things would be more inconvenient (something as simple as a map on the touch screen will now have to be on the main screen or on a separate screen, battles will now have to look more cluttered, that sort of thing).

This is pretty much all what I had in mind, especially storywise. If I might add to tell plot:
New evil team, called Team Monarch. TM is comprised of those who want Alola's monarchy to return, with the evil team leader who's a descendant of the last line of kings. Turns out the reason the monarchy ended is because the last king was a bit of an asshole who wanted to go all Fire Nation on the world. He attempted to control Solgaleo/Lunala by force but was defeated by the combined might of a rebellion supported by the Tapus. The leader of Team Monarch basically wants to return to his anscestor's ambition, and seeks out Solgaleo/Lunala to control and of course, take over the world.

However they are not the true villains of the story. There is a masked individual roaming around Alola simply named the Beast master, because of this person's ability to control UB's. He's not benevolent though, as when he gains control, he has the UB's go on a rampage in the vicinity. Team Monarch is after this person because they want to use his power to control the UB's for their benefit.

This person is actually a Faller, who has a connection to Necrozma.
