so in XY and ORAS they had a few post game minigames to help you get to level 100. still took a while. Now in sun/moon you can train your mons, with less post game mini games for leveling but also get 21 rare candies a day for free for doing nothing.

That always bugged me with earlier pokemon games, wild pokemon were always way behind in levels toward the later half of the game.

Actually, you can get significantly more levels if you have 5 star Rare Kitchen stands. They have a meal that gives a Pokemon level 89 or under 9 levels. However, that's the best meal they offer and it means you still have to grind from level 98 to 100 if you wanted to. Additionally, it costs a lot of FC to get each of those 5 star stands from other players. I haven't seen a 5 star Rare Kitchen, but a 5 star dye shop costs 1,500 to add.

Not just too long. This was by far the worst tutorial in the entire franchise. The first big city has SEVEN cutscenes before you can buy things or catch some shitmons. Its painful.
