Weird, I've actually been using magnemite throughout the first island, just getting to the second now. I decided to at least try and use each pokemon I catch even if only for a bit. Such a cute little guy.

I'm been coiling since day one of SM. It's definitely still a thing in Gen 7.

Only downside is that in Gen 7, trading only gives FC if you talk to the trainer inside the castle after every individual trade. Otherwise, your next trade will just overwrite the last one.

Just started tonight- but how do you replace buildings? Do you have to wait for a random pull every level or is there a way to select?

The fastest way to get FC is to participate in missions. Specifically, the Type matchup tests! one as it's the easiest to gain FC on.
