Not as reliable in pvp formats since it isn't powerful enough vs opposing tanks + abundance of Steels (and lesser extent, Poisons) that it can't touch anyways. You also switch more often against other players, which makes Regen shine more since not only does it provide a secondary heal option, it rewards you for an option you might already care to take anyways.
