That has more to do with his type if anything. Grass in general is a really disadvantageous type, and when you have much more powerful Megas in OU, it's only natural you're not going to see him much despite being solid on his own.

passimian is shit in comparison, crabominable, primeape, and hariyama are shit overall. Machamp and Kommo-o are only okay, stuff like heracross, lucario and conkeldurr aren't in the game. I think lucario might be but I haven't found it yet

Lucario is in. It's post-game though.

Passimian is alright. If it had higher speed it would give it that extra something, but as-is it's got one of the better Alola movepools and its stats are well-rounded with good attack.

Crabominable isn't too bad, Hariyama is alright, Primeape would benefit from tutors but is totally legit.
