Is it viable?

It's by no means trash, but its movepool is pretty sparse and it only has Wish as recovery.

That said in the current Toxapex meta, it's not bad. People don't know what Comatose so you regularly manage to get an SD in, and then you've got STAB returns or can do a pretty hefty Sucker Punch.

Deals with ghosts, rock and steel types alike, but obviously walled by common stuff like Skarmory/Bamboorocket

So it's just a tanky revenge-killer sweeper that people try to status because they are morons.

Also turns it has Rapid Spin, so actually maybe its utility is somewhat underrated, maybe replace the Bulk+Attack with U-Turn and Rapid Spin and just play him as an annoying fuck.

Idk it's hard to really make the guy work cos there are so many checks, but with status immunity, damage and utility in one package I find it hard to believe you couldn't fit it onto most teams if you really wanted.
