If preevos of pokemon that evolve into ice count your are going to stick with crabrawler and eevee for a while, if not I hope you enjoy your presents.

Yeah you'll pretty much be soloing with Crabrawler for a while, grab the gift Eevee as well, neither will be evolving for pretty much the whole game though. When you get to Ula'Ula pick up Sneasel, Snorunt and whatever else you can.

The crab is absolutely useless unevolved. The only stab move it learns for a while is brick break as a TM.
