NRW here, it's really hit or miss now. One small store had copies, but they sold everything they had because everyone suddenly knew that store sold early. Meanwhile MM and Saturn still don't sell anything, but I've seen lots of disappointed teenagers and adults today in both stores.

I agree with you that it makes close to zero sense for them to push the release date back whether it's a
preventative matter because stores broke street date when X and Y came out or whatever in the end it's pretty useless because there'll always be stores that do that and it's just the same in America
and Asia.
Anyways by now it's the second game where they pulled that with ORAS being the first. It does make me pissed but in the end it's mostly just one weekend and I guess i can live through that.
Hell if you have a cfw 3DS you could even play offline already. Anyways It's really not like the wait is unbearable so I think it's a bit childish to say you'll boycott Nintendo just because of the release date because they do make great products overall.
