Both Media Markt and Expert had both the normal and steelbook versions for either Sun or Moon out on their shelves.

i casually picked it up from a store in dusseldorf germany without even preordering today. the store is known for shit like this (i got san andreas 2 weeks before release way back then)

Nintendo Live Support told me I shouldn't use online or better yet play the game at all before the 23rd.
Not sure if he was just talking shit or they really do ban on european servers if you connect before the 23rd.
You can play through the game perfectly fine offline but trading/battling and other festival plaza gimmicks don't work offline.
Imma play it safe and just stay offline till the 23rd to be honest.
