It's one of those mons that look like a complete mess on paper but it does work in practice.

Really Snowslash is a lot easier to setup than it seems. And once it gets a +2 boost it's gonna hurt stuff.

Even without setting up, LO-boosted Icicle Crash hurts and the most common ice resists (Toxapex, Heatran and Aegislash) happen to be weak to EQ.

Relying on Tapu lele is a bad idea though.
I usually set veil with Fairytales and if I switch into Snowslash right after, I can only effectively sweep for 3 rounds (losing one for switching and one for SDing).
Setting a terrain requires too much time and would run out before you could get shit done anyway.
